Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part Time Finance Assistant to join our team at Tate. As a Part Time Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our business, ensuring accurate and timely financial records, and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Transactions:
    • Generate sales invoices
    • Reconcile debtors
    • Post ecommerce sales and reconcile transactions with PayPal, Stripe, Amazon, and eBay
  • Payroll and Timesheet Management:
    • Assist with fortnightly payroll
    • Record timesheets
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly VAT returns
    • Manage petty cash
  • General Administration:
    • Provide cover for the Purchase Ledger team
    • Perform ad hoc reporting
    • Offer general administrative support to the team and Finance Manager
  • Credit Control:
    • Manage credit control when required

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Previous Accounts Assistant experience is essential
    • Must have experience with bank reconciliations
    • Must have experience with VAT returns
  • Skills:
    • Intermediate user of Excel
    • Ability to learn new systems quickly
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Team player with a hands-on approach
