Job Summary:
Cora Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeper/Cook to join our team. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our residence, as well as preparing delicious meals for our family.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all general housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning, with the assistance of a local part-time cleaner
- Prepare home-cooked meals for our family at weekends
- Run errands and complete tasks as required
- Occasionally drive for school runs and other tasks (a car will be provided for work use)
- Oversee the work of contractors and manage the procurement of household goods
- Manage shoot parties (approximately 7 weekends per year)
Requirements:
- Fluent English speaker with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Full, clean driving license
- Knowledgeable in a wide range of areas related to the role
- Efficient, discreet, and organized
- Comfortable working in a rural location
- Child-friendly (our family has two children aged 13 and 15)
Accommodation and Hours:
We offer a three-bedroom house in the village, and the successful candidate will work Thursday to Monday during term-time. The usual working hours on weekdays will be 09:00 to 17:00, but flexibility will be required at weekends.
Salary:
The salary for this role is up to £40,000, with the possibility of up to £50,000 for local candidates with prior experience.
