Job Description

The role of a Planning and Compliance Coordinator at Stobart is to ensure the company's fleet operates within legal compliance requirements. This involves managing compliance activity for depots, providing daily/weekly reports, and completing follow-up activities to ensure vehicle arrival at vendors or attendance by mobile engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage compliance activity for depots, ensuring events are booked in line with company's compliance objectives.
  • Provide daily/weekly reports relating to compliance status of the company's fleet.
  • Complete follow-up activities at stipulated times to ensure vehicle arrival at the vendor or attendance by the mobile engineer and take required action for 'no-shows'.
  • Support other team members when required, assisting with any activities, which are within the wider team's remit.
  • Use all systems proficiently, maintaining accurate and comprehensive data input continuously.
Requirements
  • Thorough understanding of commercial vehicle and ancillary equipment, compliance requirements.
  • Experience in an environment managing commercial vehicle compliance, and full familiarity with scheduling, booking, and managing slippage.
  • Proven team worker, with drive, enthusiasm and a 'can do' mind-set, supportive of colleagues and willing to get involved.
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple work streams effectively.
  • Be experienced user of GTS and able to competently control and manage planning role.
  • Knowledge of the sector and relevant operational practices.
  • CPC Holder is desirable.
