**Job Summary**

Briggs Equipment is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Field Service Engineer.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure all work complies with engineering standards and, as relevant, Briggs/manufacturer specification/tolerances.
  • Carry out inspection/checks on own work as it proceeds and ensure that the equipment performs satisfactorily and is safe before handing back to the customer.
  • Identify any further work required on a machine and ensure the customer is made aware of the fact, especially where a cost to the customer is to be incurred.
  • Complete all related job and service documentation correctly, with necessary signatures/documents obtained from the customer.

**What will help you to excel in this role:**

  • Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principles.

**Benefits:**

  • Base salary up to £36,209 pa based on a 40-hour working week.
  • Overtime is payable at x1.5 Monday – Saturday and x2 on Sunday.
