We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team at Mercure Exeter Rougemont Hotel. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities- Take ownership of all client and group bookings, ensuring their needs are met in all areas, including bedrooms, meeting rooms, and food and beverage.
- Act as liaison between the sales and operations departments, communicating client needs and ensuring seamless execution.
- Conduct regular calls with potential clients to promote our hotel's services and offerings.
- Maintain accurate market segment databases and ensure timely mailings to clients.
- Conduct market research and telesales campaigns to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare and present monthly reports to highlight business levels and new opportunities.
- Develop and implement Key Accounts Plans for existing and new clients.
- Conduct site inspections and communicate hotel services to clients.
- Assist with the coordination of corporate hospitality events.
- Attend weekly sales meetings and contribute to department discussions.
- Maintain open communication with colleagues and ensure a professional demeanor at all times.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
