Senior Building Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Surveyor to join our team at Conrad Consulting Ltd in Glasgow's City Centre.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surveying, with expertise ranging from project to professional level, and at least 5 years of postgraduate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clients with expert advice on building/property concerns, including technical, financial, legal, sustainability, building legislation, and restoration.
  • General Building Surveying, Contract Admin, and Monitoring a property's deterioration or faults.
  • Deliver projects from start to finish, ensuring project objectives are met.
  • Negotiate repair of work or financial settlement as needed.
  • Project management and/or management of interdisciplinary teams.
  • Handle instructions with care and maintain detailed records of all work completed.

Requirements:

  • Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
  • At least 5 years of postgraduate experience with provable technical delivery experience.
  • Significant exposure to, and good working relations with lenders and investors.

What We Offer:

The starting salary for this position ranges from £47,500 to £52,500 depending on experience, along with a comprehensive range of flexible benefits.
