Job Summary

Group Shared Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reconciliation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for governing the end-to-end bank reconciliation process for our designated region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration of bank reconciliations for assigned regions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and ensure effective reconciliation and control environments.

  • Support the Head of Financial Reconciliation in providing a robust and industry-leading reconciliation and control environment.

  • Provide support for internal and external audits, ensuring robust audit trails and evidence are maintained.

  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), creating monthly dashboards and providing management information as required.

  • Ensure adherence to accounting and other policies and practices, providing clear and easy-to-understand evidence to interested parties.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing a team within a high-volume processing environment is essential.

  • Qualified accountant or qualified by experience.

  • Ability to analyze large data sets and identify risks.

  • Improvement mindset and proactive attitude.

  • Previous reconciliation experience is essential.

  • Previous Oracle/ERP experience is desirable.
