Job Title: Building Management Systems Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Management Systems Engineer to join our team at Thatcher Associates. As a BMS Engineer, you will be responsible for researching and identifying solutions to hardware issues, diagnosing and troubleshooting technical problems, and carrying out BMS PPM tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve hardware issues to ensure optimal system performance
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including controls setup and network configuration
  • Perform regular BMS PPM tasks to maintain system integrity
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide prompt and accurate feedback
  • Escalate unresolved issues to internal teams as necessary
  • Manage multiple open issues simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a BMS Engineer, Technician, Building Manager, or similar
  • Hands-on experience with Tridium AX & N4 and Trend systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
