About the Role

DP World is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Architect to join our Regional IT Project Delivery function. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Manager of Infrastructure Architecture to develop and implement IT strategies, technical strategies, and technical architecture roadmaps that support business continuity and disaster recovery.

This role requires a strong technical background with broad experience across a wide range of technologies. You will be responsible for designing and implementing highly available and uniform infrastructure solutions that support key business applications and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Escalation, project management, business development, IT processes, and vendor management to work with teams, PMO, and Manager of Infrastructure Architecture.
  2. Planning, architecture design, and implementation of highly available and uniform infrastructure solutions that support key business applications and goals.
  3. Driving annual disaster recovery tests to be performed in data centers, recorded, and information shared with the audit team.
  4. Conducting strategic technology planning to achieve corporate goals.
  5. Designing and implementing information systems that effectively support the architecture of the organization.
  6. Documenting process design and solutions to show how current and future needs of the organization will be met in an efficient, flexible, scalable, and maintainable manner.
  7. Providing solutions that take into account performance, fault tolerance, high-availability, disaster recovery, long-term support, licensing, 3rd party commitments, and obligations, including support of ISO27001 and TISAX.
  8. Solution designs and architectures making allowances for business impacts, inter-system communication, security requirements, and industry best practices.
  9. Influencing team members to ensure goals are achieved.
  10. Attending meetings and assisting communication among teams, working closely with Manager Infrastructure Architecture on key projects.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business administration, or commerce, or a combination of equivalent professional training and certifications, combined with a minimum of 5 years related work experience in this or equivalent position(s).

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical IT background with broad experience across a wide range of technologies, highly organized, and able to set priorities. They will also have strong enterprise technology-level problem-solving skills with a focus on business/customer risk mitigation.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of strong experience in IT infrastructure, well-versed in risk management best practices, business continuity planning, and a track record of excellent uptime. They will also have broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies, technology directions, and strategic application to business needs.
