We are excited to offer an apprenticeship opportunity within our Analytical Chemistry division, focusing on the preparation and analysis of various pollutants in marine environmental samples under controlled laboratory conditions. Comprehensive training and supervision will be provided, but candidates should be self-driven, eager to acquire new skills, and capable of following instructions diligently. Your responsibilities during the apprenticeship will include:

  • Monitoring laboratory supplies and reagents, ensuring timely replenishment as needed.
  • Assisting in the management of sample storage and documentation.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the laboratory facilities.
  • Adhering to relevant Health and Safety regulations and Quality Procedures, including strict compliance with CoSHH and Risk Assessments.

Additionally, Cefas reserves the right to assign further duties and responsibilities that align with your role. Team Leaders and management will communicate any changes, and a revised job description will be provided if necessary.
