We manage a contract for a prominent client, overseeing a substantial team of commercial drivers and site service professionals.
If you possess extensive experience in a multifaceted logistics environment; enhancing team engagement and demonstrating strong decision-making capabilities, continue reading.
Compensation, perks, and additional offerings:
The compensation package available is competitive, reaching up to £55,000. We provide 25 days of annual leave (inclusive of public holidays), along with the option to purchase extra days. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Delivering operational excellence through leadership and support for the site management team
- Fostering a unified team culture across all site operations, ensuring alignment towards common goals
- Taking responsibility for site performance, achieving established KPIs and operational benchmarks
- Leading the site safety strategy, engaging colleagues to cultivate a premier safety culture
- Proactively identifying opportunities for change and continuous improvement within the operation
Qualifications for success at XYZ Logistics:
- Preferably, you will hold CPC certification and possess a solid understanding of driver regulations
- Relevant warehousing and safety certifications, such as IOSH
- Capable of communicating effectively and confidently at all organizational levels
