Position Overview: Lead Culinary Specialist
The Lead Culinary Specialist will undertake a variety of responsibilities, including the preparation and cooking of fresh ingredients, managing supplier orders, and presenting high-quality dishes. This role involves assisting the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the quality of stock and prepared food, and contributing to menu development.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage kitchen operations to meet the standards set by the Head Chef.
  • Develop menus and guide the kitchen team in food preparation and delivery.
  • Implement effective stock and waste management practices.
  • Ensure quality control of stock and prepared dishes.
  • Execute cooking tasks to the highest standards efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within designated kitchen sections.
  • Exhibit a positive and proactive attitude at all times.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations, the Staff Code of Conduct, and company policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Chef and management.
  • Report any safeguarding concerns through the appropriate channels.

General Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Club policies, particularly health and safety regulations.
  • Adhere to legal, regulatory, ethical, and social requirements.
  • Follow the Club's Safeguarding Policy and procedures.

Essential Personal Characteristics
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality service.
  • Proficient in preparing and cooking a variety of ingredients, including meat, fish, vegetables, and carbohydrates.
  • Experience managing a kitchen section and potentially supervising a junior chef.
  • Organize orders and manage a team for pre and post-match catering.
  • Travel with the team to oversee food offerings at hotels and manage live cooking stations.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail in managing section orders.
  • Support good food hygiene practices and health and safety routines in the kitchen.
  • Assist in planning and developing new menu ideas in collaboration with the Head Chef.
