Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered care and support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, nutrition, and hydration.
- Manage and administer medication, adhering to care standards and policies.
- Keep accurate records of service user information and care plans.
- Engage with service users, providing emotional support and companionship.
- Perform light domestic duties and shopping tasks as required.
- Ensure safe care practices are followed, using moving and handling equipment as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and senior staff, maintaining confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Must be hardworking, reliable, and honest.
- Experience preferred, but not essential, as full training can be provided.
- Must hold a valid DBS or be willing to obtain one.
- Driver preferred, but not essential.
- Be friendly and able to engage with others.
- Must have empathy towards others.
