KEY INFORMATION


Reason for vacancy -Increased demand

Contract -Temporary to permanent

Basic pay -£13.50ph PAYE

Shifts -Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm, Fridays 8am-12.30pm

Breaks -15-minute morning break, half hour lunch break

Overtime -£20.25ph available every day after shift and at weekends (totally optional)

Holidays -Accrual (21 days + BH once permanent)

RESPONSIBILITIES


The Role - Serply is seeking skilled MIG Welders to become part of our dedicated welding team on full-time temporary to permanent contracts. The primary responsibilities of this position include the fabrication of welded steel components for our product line within a high-quality production setting.

Key duties include:

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • MIG welding in accordance with established procedures
  • Maintaining 5S standards in all work areas
  • Complying with company health and safety regulations at all times

Individual Responsibilities


Ensuring the safe operation of MIG welding equipment

Accountable for personal output and achieving daily production targets


ESSENTIAL SKILLS


Required qualifications include:

  • Previous experience in MIG welding
  • Ability to pass the company's MIG welding test during the interview
  • Capacity to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Proficient verbal and written English skills
