About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Development Chef to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service delivery across our schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement culinary strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food quality and service
  • Collaborate with our education sector partners to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as The School Food Standards
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our food service offerings
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar food service role, preferably in an education sector environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong culinary skills, with a passion for creating delicious and nutritious meals
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Driving licence and DBS clearance
