As a Senior Programme Manager, you will be at the forefront of directing and supervising essential research initiatives, collaborating closely with fellow Senior Programme Managers. Your adept leadership will play a vital role in shaping both strategic and operational advancements within the organization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the commissioning and evaluation processes of the BTRU team
  • Engage in strategic projects related to research initiatives
  • Formulate standard operating procedures and guidelines
  • Participate in committee meetings and offer expert advice
  • Act as a representative for NIHR in interdisciplinary working groups
  • Engage with stakeholders and represent funding initiatives at various events
  • Enhance operational practices to achieve excellence
  • Foster professional relationships with colleagues and applicants
  • Manage and mentor team members
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to timelines
