About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Utility Groundworker to join our Reinstatement team in a permanent, full-time capacity.

This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to reinstate excavations in highways and private sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reinstating excavations in highways and private sites
  • Working closely with the team to ensure safe working practices and excellent customer service
  • Assisting with other ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements

  • Experience with groundworks/reinstating techniques, including tarmac, modular services, slabs, and concrete
  • HGV license and experience driving a Hotbox or Grab/HIAB lorry (desirable)
  • Experience working on public highways, including setting up and taking down temporary traffic signals
