Senior Treasury / ALM Dealer

Northridge Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Treasury / ALM Dealer to join our client, a leading Bank in Oman, as they undergo a significant transformation programme to enhance their digital offering.

This role requires full relocation to Oman and will involve working closely with the Deputy Head of Treasury to execute day-to-day trading activities within the Money Market Desk, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

The successful candidate will support the development and implementation of long-term strategies for the desk, leveraging their expertise in foreign exchange, derivatives, and fixed income to optimize resource utilization and maximize returns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute day-to-day trading activities within the Money Market Desk
  • Support the development and implementation of long-term strategies for the desk
  • Assess credit risk and recommend capital allocation and provisioning
  • Provide recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk
  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and assessment of credit requests
  • Develop and prepare spreadsheets and models to support analysis of new and existing credit applications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Finance, or Accounting
  • Preferably CFA
  • Previous experience in the financial or banking sector
