Agency Mental Health Nurse Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Agency Mental Health Nurse to join our team at XP Recruitment. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work across various healthcare settings, providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with mental health needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct thorough assessments and collaborate with teams to develop individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered and evidence-based practice.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses, adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations and policies.
  • Support patients in managing their mental health, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, utilizing electronic health records systems.
  • Work flexibly across different settings, adapting to various clinical environments and prioritizing patient needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care.

**Requirements:**

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC Pin and a minimum of 1 year's experience in mental health nursing.
  • Strong understanding of mental health conditions, their management, and relevant healthcare policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, prioritizing patient needs and adapting to changing circumstances.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
