Job Summary

We are in search of dedicated Educational Support Assistants who are interested in flexible employment opportunities. In this role, you will have the option to work consistently within a single educational institution or engage on a flexible 0-hour contract, allowing you to choose your working hours and potentially work across various schools. Key Responsibilities

As an Educational Support Assistant, your primary duties will include:

  • Assisting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons effectively.
  • Collaborating with a team of support staff to enhance the learning environment.
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Qualifications

To excel in this position, it is advantageous if you possess:

  • Experience in an educational setting.
  • Experience working with individuals with learning challenges, including ADHD, SEMH, and ASC.
  • A solid understanding of Special Educational Needs or a willingness to learn.
  • The ability to engage students in their educational journey and support their social, emotional, and personal development.
Requirements

To work with GSL Education as an Educational Support Assistant, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • An updated CV with two relevant references from the past two years.
  • A DBS registered with the update service or a willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
