GTS Group Ltd is seeking an experienced procurement and supply chain professional to join our team as a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a pioneer in the electrical product industry, developing innovative solutions for the grid.

We are looking for a strategic leader to oversee our procurement and supply chain operations, providing governance and direction to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of products and services. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in power system product supply and bringing innovations to market.

The key responsibilities of the Procurement and Supply Chain Manager will include:

  • Providing strategic leadership and governance for purchasing procedures, analyzing supply chain metrics, costs, lead times, and service levels.
  • Sourcing and procuring products and services to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of the product.
  • Achieving sustainable cost savings across an annual budget of £10 million.
  • Ensuring all procured products meet quality standards.
  • Supporting contract negotiations and conducting risk assessments to minimize business risks.
  • Assisting in demand forecasting and inventory planning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. A degree education, ideally with a CIP level 5 or working towards it, is desirable. Experience in SMEs is also a plus.
