Overview:
First Military Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking a Workshop Controller to enhance our client's service operations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of daily workshop activities, reporting directly to the Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Organize and oversee daily workshop functions to meet essential performance targets while keeping track of ongoing tasks.
2. Anticipate and identify necessary parts for repairs, coordinating with the Parts Department to ensure availability.
3. Uphold exceptional customer service standards by guiding and mentoring workshop personnel.
4. Provide technical assistance to both customers and engineers to facilitate prompt repairs.
5. Collaborate with manufacturers to enhance product quality and reliability.
6. Ensure close cooperation between the workshop team and Sales and Aftersales departments to deliver outstanding customer service.
7. Conduct final inspections to confirm that repair jobs are completed accurately, ensuring customer satisfaction.
8. Maintain a professional workspace, ensuring cleanliness and organization of work areas and protective gear.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in vehicle or machinery mechanics and diagnostics, ideally with a main dealer or manufacturer.
- Proficient in diagnosing and advising on issues via phone or remote diagnostics.
- Familiarity with modern vehicle engine emission systems and CanBus systems is advantageous, as is experience with hydraulic and hydrostatic systems diagnostics.
- Strong team leadership and motivational skills.
- Flexibility to work during harvest hours and out of season as needed.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Capability to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 + Overtime
