Job Summary:

Michelle Denny Recruitment is partnering with Hayward Moon, a reputable local property law firm in Diss, to find a skilled Conveyancing Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to join a successful expanding practice and enhance their conveyancing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the conveyancing team, assisting in the management of the practice's busy workload.
  • Enhance conveyancing skills and knowledge, while supporting the team in general administrative tasks.
  • Carry out various duties, including:
    • Providing reception support and meeting clients.
    • Answering calls, managing email traffic, and dealing with client inquiries.
    • Certifying client ID and compliance checks, drafting documentation, and correspondence.
    • Conducting land registry searches and setting up new client files.
    • Supporting in exchanging contracts and completing transactions.
    • Monitoring external portals for updates and requesting searches and management packs.

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of recent conveyancing experience.
  • A polite and friendly disposition with a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent IT and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-skill, be well-organized, and possess strong administration skills.
  • Team player with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
