Key Responsibilities:
  • UI Design and Implementation:
    • Develop and maintain user interfaces for eCommerce websites and applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Translate wireframes and mockups into responsive, high-performance web pages.
    • Work closely with web designers to understand design concepts and translate them into functional code.
    • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate UI components with server-side logic.
    • Communicate effectively with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide progress updates.
  • Performance and Optimization:
    • Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
    • Conduct regular performance testing and troubleshooting to ensure smooth user experiences.
    • Implement best practices for web accessibility and SEO.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Perform thorough testing of UI components to identify and fix bugs and issues.
    • Ensure that the user interface meets quality standards and adheres to design specifications.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in UI development and eCommerce.
    • Propose and implement improvements to enhance the user interface and overall user experience.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI development, with a strong focus on eCommerce projects.
    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify).
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
