We are seeking a seasoned Head of HR to lead our HR team and drive business performance through effective HR initiatives and strategic partnerships. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our people strategy and talent agenda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Chief People Officer (CPO) to develop and execute the HR strategic plan, aligning it with business goals
- Drive organisational capability enhancements to support business strategies and operational plans
- Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders to embed people considerations into business decisions
- Lead organisational development, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Oversee HR implications for major transformational programs
- Conduct external benchmarking to continuously enhance HR business partnering
- Foster collaboration and standardisation across HR Business Partner activities to streamline processes and optimise efficiencies
- Mitigate legal, commercial, and brand risks through effective HR management practices
- Innovate and implement processes to support a high-performance culture and sustainable business growth
- Provide expert advice on recruitment, employee relations, and performance management
- Coach and develop the HR team to enhance their skills and capabilities
Measures of Success:
- Recruitment and retention rates
- Staff absence and turnover results
- Colleague survey feedback
Requirements:
- Proven track record in influencing change and driving strategic HR initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
- Strong strategic thinking and collaboration skills across diverse functions
- Exceptional business acumen with the ability to identify key issues and risks
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities, adept at managing priorities
- Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organisation
- Passionate, self-motivated, and innovative with strong integrity and resilience
Qualifications and Experience:
- CIPD Level 7 accreditation
- Extensive experience as a Head of HR leading a HR team in large organisations
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams of HR professionals
- Proven experience in managing complex HR projects and driving change initiatives
- Strong problem-solving skills and project management expertise
