Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Coordinator to join our team at Michael Page Engineering & Manufacturing. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of our engineering stores, including maintaining stock levels, processing quotes, purchase orders, and deliveries, as well as communicating with internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Process and manage purchase orders, quotes, and deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to resolve any issues or concerns related to inventory or deliveries.
  • Collaborate with the Stores Manager to develop and implement process improvements to optimize inventory management and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety and hygiene policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a busy stores or inventory management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Proficiency in using SAP or other related software systems.
  • A forklift license is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
