This is an office-based role, requiring regular commuting to and working in the City of London.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic input and expertise into the production of marketing materials and develop the firm's third-party financial promotions approval service.
- Manage the firm's FCA Variation of Permission application for s.21 approvals.
- Offer advice, guidance, and training to the business on current and emerging regulations in respect of product distribution and marketing, including cross-border activities.
- Develop workflow tools and working practices to enable efficient reviews of UK and global marketing materials.
- Support the business in producing quality documentation and assist in the development of management information to track marketing approvals.
- Maintain and revise applicable policies and documents.
- Collaborate with the Compliance monitoring team on periodic compliance monitoring reviews relevant to production of marketing materials.
- Assist the business in preparing and compiling regulatory reports and summaries for various committees of the Board and Senior Management.
- At least 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services or a regulatory environment.
- Financial Promotions experience, skills, knowledge, and expertise.
- Knowledge of FCA COBS Regulations specific to financial promotions, AIFMD, and UCITS, as well as cross-border marketing knowledge.
- Energetic personality with the drive to effect change and develop relationships across all levels of the Company.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to follow up on agenda items.
- Strong analytical skills, including problem-solving and solution-oriented thinking.
- Able to use initiative, work unsupervised, and take responsibility.
- Degree or relevant industry qualifications.
