We are seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to enhance our team at Mallusk, Warehouse & Coldstore.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
- Coordinate with external hauliers and delivery personnel to manage bay allocations effectively.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between McCulla staff and drivers, fostering positive relationships with hauliers, delivery personnel, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless operations.
- Facilitate clear communication with warehouse and transport teams to optimize the flow of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of daily deliveries and shipments to support periodic inventory audits.
- Oversee the accurate receipting and dispatching of products within the computerized inventory system, ensuring all documentation is completed.
- Generate order picks and locations for all requests, effectively communicating this information to warehouse staff.
- Monitor loading and delivery times, promptly addressing any issues that arise.
- Establish and enforce inventory operational standards for staff adherence.
- Utilize digital systems to track inventory movement, scan stock, and reconcile inventory levels.
- Assess inventory levels to identify the need for replenishment.
- Manage the supply of goods to clients, ensuring complete orders and timely deliveries.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly to uphold the company's reputation and ensure satisfaction.
- Conduct regular checks, including pickface audits, cycle counts, and spot checks, ensuring thorough investigations and timely conclusions.
- Prepare written reports and data analysis results for senior management review.
- Provide management with recommendations on operational policies and objectives to enhance performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics is essential.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong proficiency in IT and digital systems.
- Excellent organizational abilities, with a focus on coordinating inventory operations to ensure accurate tracking of received and dispatched products.
- Ability to manage shipments from the warehouse to guarantee effective and timely delivery of client orders.
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills, with a talent for building strong relationships with clients.
- Professional telephone etiquette, fluent in English, with a flexible approach to shift adjustments as needed.
Employment Terms:
- Full-time permanent position.
- Standard working hours: Monday – Friday, 11.00am - 8.00pm.
