Salary: £57,298 (£63,330.47 is achieved after 12 months successful performance in the role )
Working Hours: Full Time – 35 Hours

The Role of Solution Analyst

In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with examining intricate business needs and translating them into actionable technical specifications that support the delivery of the Group's IT Business As Usual (BAU) and Change Portfolios. Your expertise will lie in analysis, IT solution architecture, integration, and data mapping. You will be an adept change professional, ready to assist the project team or agile squad with a proactive mindset. As part of a collaborative agile team, you will conduct thorough analyses and document technical requirements to identify products and services that address complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define technical requirements for new products and services.
  • Lead workshops with stakeholders to outline current and future business needs, facilitating the design and selection of effective solutions.
  • Utilize various analytical methods to capture technical needs and convert them into user stories, process diagrams, and requirement documentation.
  • Work closely with Design, Delivery, and Architecture teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and product roadmaps.
  • Support development and testing teams to ensure a shared understanding of project goals and technical requirements.
  • Identify challenges to successful project delivery and facilitate decision-making processes within the team.
  • Break down large initiatives into manageable tasks to enable iterative delivery and quicker value realization.
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts through routine analysis and stakeholder feedback.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking individuals who possess:

  • Proven experience in capturing technical requirements within a complex, multi-site organization.
  • Strong familiarity with industry-standard tools and design methodologies.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies such as SCRUM, Kanban, or Lean.
  • Understanding of Waterfall methodologies and the importance of upfront technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
