Economics Academic Mentor Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Economics graduate to join our team as an Academic Mentor. As an Economics Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting the Economics department, working closely with students and teachers to enhance their learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support KS3-5 Economics lessons, focusing on attainment and quality of learning
  • Deliver 1:1 and group tutoring in Economics, catering to students' needs
  • Conduct GCSE and A Level interventions to improve student outcomes
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Economics curriculum
  • Collaborate with teachers to create engaging and effective lesson plans
Requirements:
  • Desirable degree in Economics or a related field from a reputable University
  • Strong A Levels and GCSEs across the board
  • Confidence in teaching and knowledge of GCSE and A Level Economics curriculum
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Commitment to excellence and a passion for Economics education
