About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at First Community Health and Care. As a key member of our Minor Injury Unit and Wound Dressing Clinic, you will provide high-quality care to patients, reflecting our organization's philosophy of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients attending the Minor Injury Unit and Wound Dressing Clinic, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with the nurse-led team to deliver patient-centered care, following established policies and procedures.
  • Manage patients independently, with support from senior staff, to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in wound care and management, including dressing and treatment, under the guidance of senior staff.
Requirements
  • Good standard of general education, including English Language and Maths GCSE or equivalent.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent level of knowledge gained through experience and training/development.
  • Previous experience in a caring environment/role, preferably in emergency care or primary care settings.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively as an individual and member of a team.
