About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at the Caterham Minor Injury Unit and Wound Dressing Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality, individual care to patients, reflecting the philosophy of First Community Health and Care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect care to patients, including wound dressing and management, patient observations, and diagnostic testing.
  • Work collaboratively with the nurse-led team to meet the needs of patients, following policy and procedure.
  • Manage patients on your own with support from senior staff, prioritizing their care and well-being.
Requirements
  • Good standard of general education, including English Language and Maths GCSE or equivalent.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent level of knowledge gained through experience and training/development.
  • Previous experience in a caring environment/role, preferably in an emergency care or primary care setting.
