Job Summary

Magnaflux is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Formulation Specialist to join our team. As an Industrial Formulation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new chemical product formulations, managing internal non-conformances, and providing technical support to company personnel and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulation Development: Develop new and modify existing chemical product formulations to meet customer needs and company objectives.
  • Non-Conformance Management: Manage internal non-conformances such as finished good or raw material deficiencies, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to company personnel and customers, including troubleshooting production and laboratory issues, and explaining outcomes, failures, and discrepancies.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Author and maintain QC testing procedures and equipment calibration methods, and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and research and development, to ensure seamless execution of projects and tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: B.S./B.A. in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of chemistry experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to analyze and report data, and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Additional Requirements: Familiarity with analytical methods and other instrumentation, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and high level of accuracy in work.
