Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller Setter/Programmer to join our dynamic team at Kingston Barnes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in CNC milling and be proficient in Hypermill CAD/CAM software.

Location: Bridgwater, TA6

Salary: Up to £40,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement CNC programs from technical drawings utilizing CAD/CAM systems for offline programming.
  • Select appropriate tooling and work-holding systems, and make necessary adjustments to ensure precision in part manufacturing.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of produced components to guarantee adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation throughout the production process.
  • Utilize the Shop Floor Data Collection (SFDC) system for accurate job tracking.
  • Report any discrepancies in parts to the team leader and on the SFDC system.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in setting and programming 5-axis milling machines.
  • In-depth knowledge of Hypermill is essential.
  • Extensive experience with Fanuc and Siemens controls.
  • Ability to commute reliably to the workplace.

Benefits:
