Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Newcastle. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality projects across various engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery
    • Design and document structural engineering solutions to meet the requirements of Australian Standards and best industry practice.
    • Prepare high-quality reports and other related documents.
    • Coordinate and collaborate engineering designs with other teams and disciplines.
    • Carry out construction phase services including site inspections and RFI's.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Mentoring junior staff in structural engineering and undertaking reviews of structural models, calculations, specifications, and drawings.
    • Help win work and drive a result-oriented and enthusiastic culture for project delivery.
  • Professional Development
    • Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering, other relevant qualifications, and industry experience.
    • Proven experience with structural design software such as SPACEGASS, Strand7, RAPT, Inducta, etc.
    • Ongoing commitment to professional development through self-study, training, and seminars, and maintaining your Continual Professional Development (CPD).
