Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and documenting structural engineering solutions that meet Australian Standards and industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and document structural engineering solutions
  • Mentor junior staff in structural engineering and review structural models, calculations, specifications, and drawings
  • Prepare high-quality reports and other related documents
  • Coordinate and collaborate engineering designs with other teams and disciplines
  • Carry out construction phase services, including site inspections and RFI's
  • Help win work and drive a result-oriented and enthusiastic culture for project delivery
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, or other relevant qualifications and industry experience
  • Proven experience with structural design software, such as SPACEGASS, Strand7, RAPT, Inducta, etc.
  • Ongoing commitment to professional development through self-study, training, and seminars, and maintaining Continual Professional Development (CPD)
