About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Podiatrist to join our Community Podiatry Service at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our integrated team, you will provide high-quality clinical care to patients in various settings, including clinics, hospitals, and community locations.

As a Podiatrist, you will work closely with our community nursing teams to deliver patient-centered care, adhering to NICE Guidance and service criteria. Your expertise will be essential in providing treatment plans, conducting vascular and neurological testing, and performing nail surgery techniques.

We offer flexible working hours and short- and/or long-term assignments to suit your needs. Our Trust Bank provides opportunities for extra income, and you will have the chance to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in various settings
  • Work closely with community nursing teams to deliver patient-centered care
  • Conduct vascular and neurological testing
  • Perform nail surgery techniques
  • Develop and evaluate treatment plans
  • Work in a community setting, including patients' homes
Person Specification
  • HCPC Registration as a Podiatrist
  • Degree in Podiatry or equivalent
  • Local anaesthetic certificate
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
