Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Thirsk. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment, including automated distribution control systems, bucket elevators, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Work at heights and in confined spaces to access and maintain equipment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- NVQ Level 3 or above in a relevant discipline.
- Apprentice-trained or time-served in a mechanical maintenance role.
- Experience working in a food or FMCG environment.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
