Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as an HR Advisor. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that drive business growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure all services are compliant with relevant legislation, including the Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Employment Legislation.
  • HR Policy and Procedure Management: Hold overall responsibility for HR and employee handbooks, policies, and procedures to ensure they are up to date with current legislation and contract requirements.
  • Employee Relations and Support: Provide guidance, training, and hands-on support to our management team, handle employee-related issues, and conduct investigations as required in line with procedures.
  • Recruitment and Workforce Planning: Work with managers to identify recruitment needs, develop a workforce plan, and oversee the recruitment process to ensure it is effective, compliant, and in line with best practice.
  • Employee Onboarding and Wellbeing: Manage employee onboarding to ensure staff feel valued, welcomed, and supported, and promote wellbeing programs to support employees' health and wellbeing.
  • Performance Management and Development: Review performance management practices to ensure they are compliant and effective, and ensure job descriptions and person specifications are up to date.
Requirements
  • Level 5 CIPD Qualification: Essential
  • Proven Experience in HR: Ideally within the healthcare/social care sector
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities across various locations
  • Proactive and Solution-Focused Approach: Ability to manage employee-related issues and conduct investigations as required
