About the Role

The purpose of this position is to support the business leaders in driving sustainable profitable growth. You will develop strong, effective, and credible relationships with the business leaders, supporting their operational and strategic decision making by providing insightful financial analysis and analytical opinion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the business in critically analyzing performance, providing deep insight and balanced recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to explore areas of strategic change and its impact on financial performance.
  • Provide coherent, concise reporting of performance, focusing on financial and non-financial KPIs across various channels, with key drivers understood.
  • Work with the business to critically evaluate ability to meet targets, identifying areas of risk and/or opportunities to improve performance.
  • Ensure a solid understanding of the drivers of performance, with identification of good and bad contributors, and produce insight that drives action and improves performance.
  • Prepare budget models for sales and margin, broken down by category and channel, with supporting KPIs. Prepare other cost budgets, with strategic change impacts embedded.
  • Provide ad hoc commercial support.
Requirements
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, or equivalent accountancy experience.
  • Proven and strong analytical skills coupled with demonstrable experience in evaluation methodology and/or analysis of performance.
  • Proactive, self-starter, tenacious, and diplomatic; must be a completer/finisher.
