About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join our team in the Healthy Ageing Research Theme within the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration for Greater Manchester (NIHR ARC GM). The successful candidate will work closely with Professor Chris Todd, the NIHR ARC GM Healthy Ageing Theme Lead and Director of the NIHR Older People and Frailty Policy Research Unit, and the ARC GM Healthy Ageing research team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct literature searches and apply for research governance approvals
  • Undertake mixed-methods research, including qualitative and/or quantitative data collection and analysis
  • Contribute to writing up and disseminating study findings
Requirements
  • Degree in a related field of study
  • Experience of conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage and prioritise different workloads
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different teams
