Research Assistant in The Nihr Applied Research

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Research Assistant to develop their career whilst conducting important fall prevention and digital health research. You will join the Healthy Ageing Research Group, based at the University of Manchester. Building on extensive research capacity and capability in falls prevention and digital health, we seek a researcher interested in working on a randomised controlled trial of a digital falls prevention program, working with older adults in the community.
Applicants are encouraged from a people with a wide range of backgrounds, experiences of different settings and from disciplines including but not limited to healthcare professionals, primary care, public health, social sciences, computer sciences, and health research methodologists.
You will work with Dr Emma Stanmore, Reader in Nursing as well as researchers in the Applied Research Collaboration in Greater Manchester and across the wider faculty. You will be based in the in the School of Health Sciences within the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health. This isa full-time, hybrid working post with an office base at the University of Manchester campus on Oxford Road.
