About the Role:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage our purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Accurately match, code, and enter invoices into our accounting system, utilizing Sage 50 and bespoke project management systems.
  • Supplier Management: Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within Sage 50.
  • CIS Processing: Process subcontract invoices under the Construction Industry Scheme.
  • Invoice Reconciliation: Export and import invoices into Sage 50 using CSV files and perform monthly supplier invoice reconciliation.
  • Payment Processing: Assist in weekly payment lists and process credit card payments and receipts.
  • Stationery and Petty Cash: Maintain and order company stationery as required and manage petty cash.
  • Internal and External Queries: Deal with internal and external queries in a professional and detailed manner to resolve queries quickly.

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with 2+ years of accounts experience and proficient use of accounts software, preferably Sage. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, working to strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. An organized, confident communicator with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
