Head of Commercial Litigation and Contract Management

Join Mitie Care & Custody, a leading provider of custodial services, as we seek an exceptional leader to head our Commercial Litigation team. As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for delivering a minimum of Level 3 HMIP ratings, managing risks, and maximizing operational resources.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves integrating HMCIP 'Expectations' into policies and raising staff awareness. You will lead performance measures, contract outcomes, and target achievement, ensuring compliance with policies. Your responsibilities will include delivering a minimum of Level 3 HMIP ratings, managing risks, and maximizing operational resources.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Manage a dynamic team responsible for ICT, Health, Safety, Fire, Litigation, Audits, Performance, Complaints, Finance, Resourcing, Staff Training, and Catering.
- Design impactful training programmes, drive initiatives, and deliver formal audit outcomes while investigating incidents and managing IT investments effectively.
- Oversee key projects and ensure the Annual Custodial Service Delivery Plan's delivery.
- Participate in Mitie initiatives, including succession planning.
We are looking for an experienced leader with a proven track record in performance improvement and managing key performance indicators to enhance service delivery. You will have commercial and financial acumen, including budget management and driving financial efficiencies. Experience in line management, supporting, and coaching staff to achieve effective results across multiple functions is essential.
