**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Operator to join our team at Alcohols Limited. As a Production Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our chemical distribution facility.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Operate and maintain production equipment, including tanker unloading, filling, and blend operations, to ensure high-quality products are produced safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Policies, and safe systems of work to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Responsible for accurately recording transactions and paperwork, and ensuring all equipment and plant machinery is in good working order.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement through 5's process and contribute to the achievement of company objectives for Safety, Health & Environment, Quality, and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure effective order fulfillment, stock management, and inventory control.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the operation of the facility.

**Requirements**

  • GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent)
  • Health & Safety Qualification (e.g. IOSH)
  • Fork Lift licence - essential
  • Experience of handling hazardous materials, ideally with flammable materials, and working in a production/distribution company
  • Trained in ATEX/DSERA regulations (desired)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • IT literate and able to use TROPOS to handle workflow transactions
