About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining and administering the purchase ledger, coordinating purchase ledger processes, and posting purchase invoices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and administer the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
  • Coordinate purchase ledger processes, including posting purchase invoices and creating supplier payment runs.
  • Raise invoices in line with 3 billing cycles and manage credit and debit notes.
  • Reconcile direct debt payments and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Set up client direct debits and manage nominal ledger responsibilities.
  • Chase overdue payments and deal with incoming queries into the department.
