Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Piping Design Specialist to join our team at Expleo. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed CAD models and drawings to meet required standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date CAD models and drawings in a 2D and 3D environment.
  • Ensure all design deliverables are completed on time and meet the required standards.
  • Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure coordination and functionality of design.
  • Contribute to and support the entire project and product design cycle, from concept to construction and installation.
  • Provide technical support during the construction and installation phases.
  • Perform self-verification of work and report technical progress and issues to line management.
  • Ensure safety, health, and environmental requirements are implemented and maintained.
  • Assist with the maintenance and improvement of quality standards of outputs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Apprenticeship in a relevant discipline or relevant industry experience.
  • Familiarity with shipbuilding/ship repair terminology and practices.
  • Proficiency in the use of one or more parametric/spec driven CAD systems, including FORAN.
  • Experience with Windchill.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working on Naval or Commercial Marine projects, preferably naval shipbuilding projects or similar.
  • Experience with T26.
  • Ability to work autonomously or within a larger team and adapt to changing project requirements.
