Job Overview:

Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking a skilled Mechanical Installation Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing high-quality diesel-powered generators at various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install generators into plant rooms at various sites
  • Install fuel systems, including tanks and pipes, pumps, and exhaust systems
  • Install fire drop valve systems and associated ancillaries
  • Install exhaust systems, including welding and lagging of silencers and pipe work
  • Install ducting for air flow requirements
  • Install louvers, static and motorized
  • Install cable tray and associated cables
  • Perform welding, fabrication, painting, and civil works

Requirements:

  • Experience in mechanical installation and maintenance
  • Knowledge of diesel-powered generators and associated systems
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
