About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our client's vibrant team in York. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager or similar role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality operations and customer service principles
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve sales targets
