About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Production Manager to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a key member of our Rosyth site, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of shipbuilding and delivering high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and set high standards in Health & Safety and implement Quality initiatives to create cost, time & defect reductions.
- Demonstrate ability to engage with the Team at all levels, including some level of management training.
- Set objectives and hold people to account against objectives.
- Utilise your Analytical skills with the purpose of making and communicating a decision, including coordinating the workforce in implementing ideas & securing quick wins in a highly specialised and complex manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Forward thinking leader, who has a proven track record of driving change, and delivering in a technical environment.
- Knowledge of a Production Manufacturing environment for the build of structures from technical designs.
- Production Management – Ability to schedule and lead planning meetings for production activities.
- Project Management – Understanding of schedules, budgets and reporting of progress. Understanding what activities need to happen to ensure successful delivery.
- Forward thinking management experience of multidisciplinary teams.
